How much pain must color your blue eyes
Before the dragon is released to the heavens?"
Because Kisara is just awesome, and she deserves a cooler costume than that potato-sack dress.
Overall, I liked the way it turned out. I'm a little angry at myself for using second-rate watercolor paper when I had a better kind, but that kind is really thick, and trying to get it through the printer to print the lineart is a trip to hell and back. There are a lot of smudged places in the outline that I'm not particularly proud of, either. But all in all, I like it. I was so excited when I finished the first sketch; it was such a fun piece ^_^. I'm especially proud because I didn't have a reference for Kisara when I drew this...which is why her eyes are closed. I really wanted to emphisize her blue eyes, but like I said, no reference. Couldn't remember what they looked like. ::sigh::
Aaaanyway...Ink outline, watercolor (new set for xmas!!), and some white acrylic. I've said it once and I'll say it again...this one has much to learn about painting.
The quote is High Priest Seto, by the way [English manga, Millenium World Duel 21].
Beautiful job on this. Of course, I'm partial to blues anyway, but I just love the coloring on this. It's nice to see some traditional medium for a change, too.
